We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Lawyer to join a well-established personal injury litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, the ability to independently manage a significant caseload, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality legal representation. Partnership-level experience is also welcome.

Responsibilities

- Independently manage a large portfolio of personal injury litigation files from inception through resolution.

- Handle all stages of the litigation process, including pleadings, discoveries, motions, negotiations, mediations, and trials.

- Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal advice to clients.

- Draft and review pleadings, affidavits, motions, correspondence, settlement documents, and other legal materials.

- Conduct legal research and prepare cases for hearings and trial.

- Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.





- Work collaboratively with other lawyers and legal support professionals on complex matters.

- Maintain robust client relationships and provide responsive, high-quality service.

- Manage competing deadlines and ensure files progress efficiently.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of relevant personal injury litigation experience.

- Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

- Strong experience independently managing litigation files.

- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.

- Highly motivated, self-directed, and organized.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and client-management skills.

- Partnership or senior-level experience is considered an asset.

- Strong academic background preferred.
