Position: Data Architect - Senior
Duration: 12 months
Client Location: Edmonton, AB (Remote Role): 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Qualified Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Remote, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
Must Have:
Education:
- Completed training with structured Query Languages specific to Microsoft T-SQL and/or Oracle and/or PL/SQL, and database development
- Obtained training within the past 5-10 years relating to Cloud Computing and Microsoft Azure and Azure Architecture
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered; formal education strongly preferred).
Work Experience:
- Demonstrated experience defining data architecture and using Kimball architecture to develop data marts
- Experience working in or with public-sector environments with awareness of public-sector constraints, privacy legislation
Nice to Have:

Experience
- Experience developing using software such as SAP/Sybase's PowerDesigner, or ERWin, or Oracle Designer, or SQL Developer Data Modeler, or Microsoft Visio, etc.
- Experience using JOIN (Justice Online Information Network) and JIMS (Justice Information Management System) data and data structures, and knowledge of business rules based on Judicial processes
- Experience working in or with Court environments, with awareness of the importance of judicial independence
- Experience working with information management and cybersecurity policies, directives, and guidelines within limited timelines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making
