Role Description The Senior Maintenance Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in Pilot Butte, SK. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, conveyors, presses, and related systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing parts, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
The Senior Maintenance
Mechanic will also document maintenance activities,
collaborate with operations staff to minimize downtime, assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives in plant reliability and safety.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for high-volume production environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair and Corrective Maintenance to diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to plan and perform scheduled inspections and servicing to reduce downtime.
- Relevant experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings, and to use standard hand and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations.
- Experience in a laundry, textile, or similar process-based facility is an asset.
- Journeyperson or equivalent technical certification in a mechanical or industrial trade is preferred.
