We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Litigation Support to lead the Accident Benefits Division of a litigation support firm serving legal professionals and insurance companies across Canada. The role will oversee a team responsible for managing file flow and Income Replacement Benefit (IRB) reports while also contributing to broader litigation support services, including economic loss quantification, forensic accounting, business valuation, and business interruption matters. The ideal candidate will have both CBV and CPA designations, strong litigation support experience, and a proven ability to deliver credible and defensible financial analysis in complex disputes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Accident Benefits Division and oversee a team of case managers and administrative professionals.
- Review and sign off on Ontario Income Replacement Benefit (IRB/SABS) reports.
- Prepare and review economic loss reports for litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Provide independent and objective financial opinions supported by detailed analysis and professional standards.
- Ensure expert reports are accurate, well-supported, and defensible.
- Collaborate with lawyers, insurers,
and other professionals regarding financial and economic analyses.
- Provide expert testimony at trials, arbitrations, or other proceedings when required.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation supporting findings and conclusions.
- Oversee workflow and ensure timely movement of IRB files from clients through completion.
- Contribute to other litigation support service areas based on experience and expertise.
Qualifications CPA and CBV designations are required. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in litigation support, forensic accounting, economic loss quantification, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience preparing or reviewing Ontario SABS/IRB reports.
Strong analytical, financial analysis, and report-writing capabilities.
Experience working with law firms, insurers, or forensic accounting practices.
Robust understanding of expert financial reporting and professional standards.
Trial Or Arbitration Testimony Experience Is Preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and team-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
