We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in backend API automation. The ideal candidate will drive automation strategy across the SDLC, contribute to framework architecture, and leverage AI/Copilot tools to accelerate script development.

Required Skills &

Experience 8–10 years of overall QA/SDET experience, with strong emphasis on API test automation using Rest Assured (Java) or equivalent. Solid understanding of RESTful services, JSON/XML, methods, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2/JWT/API keys). Hands‑on experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions) — configuring, triggering, and troubleshooting pipeline runs. Proven experience in test automation framework design/architecture (modular, hybrid, or BDD‑based). Practical experience using AI‑assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot or similar) to write/optimize automation scripts.



Strong programming skills in Java (or relevant language for the stack).

Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control (Git). Valuable understanding of Agile/Scrum practices. Nice to Have Knowledge of database validation (SQL) for backend test scenarios.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability. Ability to work independently and drive automation initiatives with minimal supervision. Good communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams. About the Role
