The Opportunity As Senior Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality client service, technical excellence, and operational efficiency. You combine strong accounting and tax skills with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. You’re known for your attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You take ownership, communicate clearly, and help clients and colleagues succeed.

What You’ll Do

Client Service & Technical Delivery

- Prepare complex compilation (Notice to Reader) files for private corporations
- Prepare and review personal (T1), trust (T3), and corporate (T2) income tax returns
- Provide comprehensive accounting services to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Research technical issues and propose practical recommendations under applicable standards
- Embrace technology to enhance service delivery and knowledge sharing

Team Collaboration & Development

- Support and mentor junior team members through knowledge transfer and coaching
- Contribute to a collaborative, innovative, and team-focused environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and the community

Operational Excellence

- Manage deadlines and deliverables in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
- Apply strong technical knowledge of ASPE and tax compliance/planning
- Promote process improvement and a culture of continuous learning

What You Bring





- University degree with strong academic performance
- Successful completion of the CFE (Common Final Examination) at a minimum
- 2–4 years of Canadian public accounting experience with private corporations in review engagements and NTR files
- Expertise in preparing complex T1, T2, and T3 tax returns
- Proficiency with accounting software (CCH iFirm, QuickBooks, CaseWare, Taxprep) and Microsoft Office tools
- Exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written); proficiency in a second language is an asset
- Self-starter with meticulous attention to detail
- Commitment to outstanding client service
