Senior Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling & Absence Specialist to support Canadian payroll and workforce solutions using Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Leave

Our enterprise client is seeking a Senior Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling & Absence Specialist to support Canadian payroll and workforce solutions using Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Leave

Join a large-scale Workday transformation supporting payroll and workforce operations across Canada and international regions. This role supports a migration from UKG to Workday with a focus on testing, configuration, reporting, deployment, and issue resolution across Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Leave functions. The project is preparing for parallel testing ahead of a planned Workday go-live in December 2026.

The team requires senior Workday expertise to support testing timelines, validation activities, and knowledge transfer within a complex unionized setting.

Contract, Hybrid, Working Hours: M-F MST

Must Haves

- 10+ years of Workday experience across Canadian Payroll , Time Tracking , Scheduling , and Absence and Leave
- Active Workday certifications in relevant modules
- Hands-on expertise leading E2E Testing , UAT , and Parallel Testing
- Experience with Advanced Reports , Matrix Reports , and Workday reporting and analytics
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred

Nice to Have
- Scheduling experience within Workday




- Bilingual French/English
- Experience supporting ADP to Workday integrations

Responsibilities
- Lead End-to-End, User Acceptance, and Parallel Testing activities
- Design and deliver Workday reports and analytics solutions
- Support Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Leave functions
- Drive issue resolution during deployment activities
- Support Canadian payroll processes and workforce requirements
- Assist with testing, validation, and issue identification activities
- Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
