Server / Barista – Panini’s Italian Cucina (Jasper Avenue)

Panini’s Italian Cucina on Jasper Avenue is looking for a motivated, energetic, and reliable Server / Barista to join our team.

This is a hands-on position that combines front-of-house service, barista duties, food preparation, and teamwork. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant and take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve tables and ensure guests have an outstanding dining experience.
- Run food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Prepare espresso-based coffee drinks and other café beverages.
- Prepare fresh panini sandwiches.
- Pack and organize Uber Eats and other takeout orders accurately.
- Process payments using the POS system.
- Keep dining areas, coffee station, and work areas clean, stocked, and organized.
- Complete opening, closing, and side duties.
- Assist with dishes, stocking, cleaning, and general restaurant maintenance as needed.
- Work closely with the kitchen and fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

- Previous serving experience is preferred.




- Barista or espresso machine experience is a strong asset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- ProServe certification is an asset.
