Duties

- Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders for food and beverages, including coffee drinks, cocktails, and light snacks
- Prepare and serve beverages with precision, ensuring quality standards are met every time
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions quickly and accurately
- Handle cash and credit card payments while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, dining area, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring timely delivery of orders to guests




- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure an outstanding experience

Requirements

- Previous experience as a barista or bartender is highly preferred; serving experience is also valuable
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for food handling, safety, and sanitation practices
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest interactions
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations; ability to perform straightforward addition and subtraction quickly
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed in a fast-paced environment
- Food service experience including food preparation and serving is desirable but not mandatory
