Position: Waiter / Waitress

Portugalos Restaurant – Gatineau

Portugalos Restaurant is looking for an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our agile team!

We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and knows how to create a welcoming experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about our menu
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience
- Maintain a clean and organized service area
- Process payments and handle transactions accurately
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow restaurant standards for service, cleanliness, and hospitality

Requirements
- Previous serving experience is required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment




- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- French required; English is an asset
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
