Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, efficiency in food service, and the ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining a positive attitude.

Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The Server will play a vital role in providing an outstanding dining experience that encourages guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems l
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures and cash handling protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including tables, utensils, and dining surfaces
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, providing attentive guest services and resolving any issues promptly




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all tables
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred, especially in serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Veloce or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food industry standards including food preparation, serving, and guest services is highly desirable
- A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and flexibility to adapt to varying shifts are essential
