We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner
- Handle cash and process payments accurately through cashiering systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area according to food safety standards
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining attention to detail
- Uphold food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar or dining area as required
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to serve alcohol responsibly where applicable
