Server/Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic, personable, and customer-focused Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this dynamic role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional service, a welcoming attitude, and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests. The ability to speak Tamil is considered a strong asset, along with excellent English communication skills.

Key Duties

- Take guest orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, friendliness, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly while following all applicable food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Handle cash, credit/debit transactions, bills, and cashiering duties accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining areas, and service stations.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Engage proactively with guests, respond to questions, and accommodate special requests whenever possible.




- Communicate effectively with guests and team members in a professional and positive manner.
- Create a welcoming environment for guests from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, serving, or bartending experience is preferred.
- Tamil-speaking ability is a strong asset.
- Strong English communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar POS systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety, responsible alcohol service, and proper food-handling practices.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, cash handling, and change calculation.
- Strong multitasking, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to remain professional, friendly, and composed in a busy environment.
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
- Positive attitude, reliability, teamwork, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
