Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements as a Host or Hostess
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Clear tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation protocols are followed
- Assist in food preparation or delivery as a Food Runner, supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to sanitation standards
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food service operations, including food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and guests
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance the dining experience
- Flexibility to work in various roles within the restaurant as needed
