Duties

- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, menu selections, and special requests
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, sanitized work environment by adhering to food safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely delivery of orders
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly,



and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality

Requirements

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, upselling, and guest interactions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus
