About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Fort McMurray Toyota.

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key connection between our customers and our Service Department. You will help customers understand their vehicle’s service needs, recommend maintenance and repairs, coordinate work with our technicians, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience from check-in to vehicle delivery.

What You’ll Do

- Greet customers and professionally assess their service and repair needs.
- Write accurate repair orders and clearly document customer concerns.
- Recommend maintenance and repairs based on manufacturer guidelines, inspection results, and technician recommendations.
- Communicate repair requirements, timelines, and costs clearly to customers.
- Provide regular updates throughout the repair process.
- Coordinate with technicians, parts staff, and management to ensure efficient workflow.
- Review completed repairs with customers and explain work performed.
- Prepare accurate estimates and obtain appropriate customer authorization.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Follow Toyota dealership processes and manufacturer standards.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and work toward effective resolutions.
- Promote recommended maintenance and dealership service offerings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service reception area.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous automotive service advisor, service consultant, or dealership experience is an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.




- Automotive knowledge and the ability to understand and explain vehicle repairs.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
- Strong computer and administrative skills.
- Valid Alberta driver's licence and a clean driving record.
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers.
