Service Manager – Hydraulic Shop

Hydraulic Technologies Inc. (HTI) is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our Hydraulic Shop team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing shop operations, personnel, equipment, repairs, customer communication, and workflow processes to ensure quality repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor shop personnel, fostering a positive, productive, and customer-focused team environment.
- Manage day-to-day hydraulic repair operations in the Pump/Valve/Motor Dept, including inspections, quoting, scheduling, and job completion.
- Ensure repairs meet company standards, specifications, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate communication between customers, technicians, sales staff, shipping, and management.
- Oversee department equipment maintenance, safety, and operational readiness.
- Manage shop supplies and inventory to support uninterrupted workflow.
- Maintain accurate work orders, costing records, job status updates, and related documentation.




- Drive continuous improvement of shop procedures and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a service management, shop management, or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in hydraulic systems and components required
- Ability to prepare quotes, manage priorities, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and team development.
