Job Overview

Abel Western is looking for an experienced, dependable full time Service Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with strong exterior construction experience who is comfortable working independently, troubleshooting issues, completing repairs, and managing service jobs from start to finish.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and replace soffit, fascia, eavestrough, downpipes, cladding, and various types of siding
- Assess exterior issues and determine the appropriate repair or installation required
- Complete service calls and smaller exterior projects efficiently and professionally
- Organize and prioritize assigned jobs and daily workload
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure worksite
- Complete work to Abel Western standards for quality and workmanship




- Maintain an acceptable and consistent pace while ensuring work is completed properly

Qualifications

- Previous experience installing and repairing soffit, fascia, eavestrough, downpipes, cladding, and siding
- Strong understanding of exterior construction and repair techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine practical solutions
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for assigned jobs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Solid attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of exterior construction work
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record

Compensation: Competitive wage based on experience. Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
