Job Summary

Join our team as a Sewer Lift Station Technician and become a vital part of maintaining the efficiency and safety of our wastewater infrastructure. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for building, and repairing sewer lift stations to ensure smooth and reliable wastewater flow. Duties

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on sewer lift stations, including pumps, valves, and control systems.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs involving low voltage systems, motor controls, and wiring within lift stations.
- Use hand tools and power tools to repair or replace mechanical parts like pumps, valves, piping, and fittings.
- Rigging and lifting heavy equipment or parts using appropriate techniques to ensure safety during maintenance or installation tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and operational activities for compliance and reporting purposes.




- Respond promptly to emergency calls or alarms to resolve issues that could impact wastewater flow or station safety.

Skills

- Experience with lift station mechanical construction and maintenance is a must.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves, and related mechanical systems.
- Electrical experience with low voltage systems including motor controls and wiring diagnostics.
- Proficiency with hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, saws) for repair work.
- Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting heavy components safely.
- Welding skills are a plus for fabrication or repair tasks involving metal components.
