Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sheet Metal Journeyman/woman to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, fabricating, and repairing sheet metal components across various projects. Your expertise will ensure that all work meets safety standards, quality specifications, and project deadlines.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal materials using hand tools and power tools with precision.
- Install ductwork, ventilation systems, roofing, flashing, and other sheet metal components in commercial and residential settings.
- Perform welding, caulking, and sealing tasks to ensure airtight and weatherproof installations.
- Assist with construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing connections, and restoration work as needed.
- Use schematics to troubleshoot issues during installation or repair processes.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials safely.

Qualifications





- Proven experience as a sheet metal journeyman/woman or in a similar construction role with a focus on sheet metal work.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as snips, hammers, drills, and measuring devices.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Experience with construction projects involving carpentry, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, or restoration is highly desirable.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces while following safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Valid certification or apprenticeship completion as a sheet metal worker is preferred.
