Our store located in downtown Milk River is adjacent to the only liquor store and grocery store in town. Being the first store north of the Montana border, travelers coming into Southern Alberta can order via our website and pick up their order just 5 minutes after the border crossing! We also ship via Canada Post to anywhere in Alberta.

Summary:

- Reports to: Store Manager
- Hours: part-time (approximately 16-20 hrs/week) with weekend, evening, and holiday shifts

Role: As a Shift Leader / Keyholder, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the store. This is an independent position where you’ll often be running the store on your own, responsible for delivering excellent customer service while ensuring smooth and compliant store operations.

Responsibilities:

Daily Store Operations:

- Open and close the store independently
- Drive sales through product recommendations, upselling, and basket-building
- Identify operational improvements and communicate recommendations to management
- Operate the POS system (Greenline) and fulfill e-commerce orders
- Respond to online order inquiries, issues, and refund requests
- Manage email/chat support related to e-commerce orders
- Coordinate resolution of delivery delays or pickup issues
- Accurately handle cash, debit,



and credit transactions
- Perform daily inventory and cash counts and reconciliation
- Assist with inventory receiving, restocking, and merchandising
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment

Customer Experience:

- Deliver exceptional service and cannabis product knowledge to customers
- Build relationships with local customers and repeat visitors

Compliance:

- Ensure strict adherence to AGLC, Health Canada, and municipal regulations
- Age verification procedures
- Maintain all required documentation and reporting for audits and inspections
- Camera review and incident reporting
- Safe storage and handling procedures
- Report any issues or discrepancies to management

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of retail experience (cannabis retail experience preferred)
- Experience in single-store or owner-operated retail environments
- Expert knowledge of cannabis products and customer need states
- Experience in ecommerce (Blaze ecommerce preferred)
- Experience in POS (Greenline preferred)
- Experience in compliance (AGLC preferred)
- Ability to work with minimal oversight
- Willingness to cover shifts if needed
- Versatile availability during peak periods or staffing gaps
- Must have valid SellSafe Certification
- Ability to pass background checks
- Eligibility to work in Canada

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
