SUMMARY OF POSITION

Reporting to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, this position is responsible for working within our warehouse environment to process shipments of finished goods and the receiving of goods while ensuring accuracy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Checking items to be shipped against pick list to ascertain that part number, lot number, quantity, labeling, and carrier selection is correct.
- Preparing shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, etc.) by recording necessary details pertaining to shipment; consignee, carrier, carton count, etc. to comply with internal audit standards and standard operating procedures.
- Properly recording/verifying method of shipment, quantity, weights, carrier, shipping terms and carrier’s reference number on proper documents.
- Coordinating with customer service and carriers to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of shipments and billing.
- Receiving goods and verifying against shipping manifests and/or any other related documents.
- Putting away received/processed parts into rack & row.




- Maintain established inventory control procedures.
- Cycle counts of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other materials requested daily along with the processing of returns.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Grade 12 Secondary School graduate.
- 1-3 Years Forklift experience (Mandatory).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valuable visual acuity.
- Basic math skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Understand and follow all health and safety procedures including safe operation of equipment.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision or interaction.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be able to continuously lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs. for 8 hours per day. On occasion, lift up to 60 lbs.
- Continuous standing during a shift with frequent reaching, pulling, and bending.
