Shipping & Logistics Supervisor

Wonder Berry is well-established food importer and distributor serving major grocery chains and independent retailers across Canada. We are looking for an experienced Shipping & Logistics Supervisor to oversee our daily shipping, receiving, transportation, and logistics operations.The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment, coordinating with carriers, warehouses, while ensuring the efficient movement of goods and excellent customer service.Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and 3PL providers.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping documentation.
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve transportation delays and delivery issues.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
- Manage relationships with freight carriers, brokers, and transportation providers.
- Investigate shipping discrepancies, shortages, damages, and freight claims.
- Ensure inventory movements are accurately reflected in the ERP/WMS system.
- Support warehouse shipping and receiving operations to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
- Assist with process improvements to increase logistics efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements,



and food safety standards.

Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Previous experience working with 3PL providers and freight carriers.
- Experience in a distribution or food warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of transportation coordination and shipping documentation.
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the food distribution industry is considered a strong asset.
