Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Siding and Roofing Installers to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining siding and roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will help enhance the durability, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal of our clients' properties.

Extra*

Must have valid certificates on hand. Can be picked up and dropped off in Barrie. If using your own vehicle there will be gas compensation. Pay every 2 weeks on Saturday, we do not hold a weeks pay, you are paid at the end of the 2 weeks the hours that were worked. Pay will be discussed same day the work starts. No drugs or alcohol permitted while working. Looking for someone reliable and steady for at least 3 months.

Duties

- Measure and cut siding and roofing materials accurately using hand tools and blueprint specifications
- Install siding panels, shingles, tiles, or metal roofing with precision and attention to detail
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, and applying caulking to ensure proper adhesion of materials




- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, saws, and levels to complete installations efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure smooth workflow
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to follow project specifications accurately
- Conduct inspections during and after installation to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols

Experience

- Prior construction experience with a focus on siding or roofing installation preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools used in carpentry, caulking, and general construction tasks
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings effectively
- Experience with handyman tasks or general maintenance work is a plus
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights safely
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to roofing and siding installation required
- Basic understanding of construction materials such as shingles, metal panels, vinyl siding, etc.
