Fort Saskatchewan

Alberta Power Wash is hiring two-three Site Supervisors to run equipment decontamination stations on a major industrial construction project near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This is a long-term assignment — the scope runs around the clock, year-round.

This is a supervisory role, not a wash position. You are not on the wand. You move station to station verifying that cleaning is done correctly, that stations are stocked and running, and that every unit that passes through is properly documented. If you are looking for a role where your judgment and professionalism matter more than your time clock, this is it.

The schedule (a good one)

We run a Panama rotation — 12 hour shifts, 2 on / 2 off / 3 on, then flip OR 14 and 7 depending on what is deemed best for the crew and company.

If Panama is selected

- Average 42 hours per week
- Never more than 3 shifts in a row
- Every second weekend off as a full 3-day block
- Day shift 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM · Night shift 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Predictable 14-day cycle you can plan your life around

We are hiring for one day-shift position and one night-shift position. Tell us which you want. No camp. No fly-in. You go home every day. The site is roughly 40 minutes from Edmonton.

What you'll actually do

- Move between wash stations verifying that decontamination is being carried out correctly and completely
- Confirm each step of the cleaning process is followed in the right order and for the right duration
- Keep stations ready — water, cleaning chemical, fuel, pressure, heat, lighting, containment levels
- Complete a timestamped log for every unit cleaned, initialled and filed by station and shift

- Run the shift handover at 6:00 AM / 6:00 PM: what moved, what's staged, what failed
- Coach and correct the general labourers doing the washing — they are supplied by the general contractor, and you are the standard they work to
- Stop work when a unit, a person or a condition isn't safe, and say so
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance; call in service before a small problem becomes a shutdown
- Report daily to the project manager on throughput, consumables and any issues

What you need

Required

- Supervisory experience in construction, oilfield, industrial services, agriculture, transportation or a similar hands-on workplace
- Comfortable working outdoors in all Alberta weather, year-round
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- Able to pass a site safety orientation and provide clearance documentation before your first shift
- Strong written record-keeping — legible, accurate, on time, every shift
- Willing and able to work 12 hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Able to be reached and respond during your shift

Certifications — you'll need these before your first day. Have them already and you go to the top of the pile; if you don't, we'll help you get them.

- WHMIS (current version)
- Standard First Aid with CPR

Nice to have

- Experience with hot water pressure washing equipment (Hotsy or similar)
- Experience with agricultural or biosecurity cleaning protocols
- Experience running a shift handover and training newer crew

Above all: we need people who show up. This is a 24/7 operation where a missed shift leaves a station unmanned. Reliability is the single most important thing on this list.

What we offer

- $30-40/hr. salaried or hourly depending on time and crew selection
- Long-term, year-round work — not a 3-month job
- Statutory holiday premiums
- All PPE supplied: CSA Type 2 helmet, A4 cut-resistant gloves, hi-vis, safety glasses
- Full training on the decontamination process and equipment
- Paid certification where you don't already hold it
- A small, direct company. You'll deal with the owners, not four layers of management.
- $1,000 referral bonus if you bring us someone we hire who lasts 90 days

About us Alberta Power Wash is a Western Canadian industrial cleaning company. We supply and operate mobile decontamination and wash systems for construction, energy and agricultural clients across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. To apply

Apply through Indeed with your resume. Tell us which shift you want — days or nights — and list any safety tickets you currently hold.

We're looking to have both people on site and oriented within three weeks. If you're available sooner, say so.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Benefits

- Mileage reimbursement
