Mad Dog’s Ski & Board is looking for full-time and part-time Ski & Snowboard Sales Associates for the upcoming winter season.

We’re looking for friendly, outgoing, and hardworking people who have a passion for skiing or snowboarding and enjoy helping customers find the right gear. You’ll work directly with customers, answer questions, recommend products, and help keep the store organized and running smoothly.

Previous retail or ski/snowboard industry experience is an asset, but it’s not required. More importantly, we’re looking for honest, reliable team players who provide great customer service and are eager to learn more about the products we carry.

Responsibilities

- Help customers select skis, snowboards, boots, apparel, accessories, and other winter gear based on their needs and experience level.
- Assist in the tech shop with ski and snowboard waxing, edge sharpening, binding adjustments, and other basic service work as needed.
- Explain product features and differences in a clear and helpful way.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service in-store and over the phone.
- Process purchases and payments using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Recommend relevant accessories and equipment when appropriate.
- Help receive, organize, stock, and merchandise products.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Stay up to date on the products and brands we carry.




- Assist with other day-to-day store duties as needed, especially during busy periods.

What We’re Looking For

- A passion for skiing or snowboarding and an interest in the industry.
- Friendly, outgoing, honest, and hardworking.
- Strong customer service skills and comfortable talking with customers.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ski or snowboard equipment knowledge is an asset.
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
- Willingness to learn about recent products, equipment, and brands.
- Availability to work weekends and during busy periods throughout the winter season.
- Must be available to work on Boxing Day and during Boxing Week.
