Skilled Construction & Renovation Worker

Lina Construction Ltd. is looking for a skilled and reliable Home Renovation Specialist to join our growing team. We work on residential renovation and remodeling projects throughout the Lower Mainland and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with a team, and can handle a variety of renovation tasks.

Pay: $30–$38 per hour, based on experience and skill levelJob Type: Full-timeSchedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional additional hours as required

Responsibilities

- Perform residential renovation and remodeling work from demolition through finishing
- Framing and general carpentry
- Drywall installation, taping, patching, and repairs
- Install doors, trim, baseboards, and finishing materials
- Install flooring, including laminate, vinyl, and hardwood
- Tile installation for bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas
- Cabinet and millwork installation
- Painting, caulking, and finishing work
- Assist with concrete forming and minor concrete work when required
- Read and understand drawings, measurements, and renovation plans
- Accurately measure and calculate required materials
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Identify problems and recommend practical solutions
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, subcontractors, and homeowners
- Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Assist with material pickup, organization, and site preparation when required

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of residential renovation or construction experience preferred




- Strong general carpentry and renovation skills
- Experience with drywall, flooring, tile, cabinetry, trim, and finishing work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to read construction drawings and take accurate measurements
- Comfortable using common construction hand and power tools
- Robust attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to perform physically demanding construction work
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
- Own transportation is an asset
- Own basic hand tools are an asset

What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is more than just a general labourer. The ideal candidate is an experienced renovation professional who can be given a task, understand what needs to be done, and complete the work properly without constant supervision.

You should be comfortable working in occupied homes and understand the importance of cleanliness, professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for our clients’ properties.
