Job Position: Labourer

TerraBurst is a leading underground infrastructure contractor specializing in sewer and water rehabilitation, repair, and replacement. We deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions through innovation, customer service, skilled workmanship, and honest, reliable practices.

We are looking for a dependable Skilled Labourer to join our field operations team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing the job right, and wants to develop their skills in underground construction.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general labour and semi-skilled construction duties on active job sites.
- Support labourers, pipe layers, equipment operators, and foremen with daily construction activities.
- Lead by example by demonstrating TerraBurst's safety standards, core values, teamwork, and positive work culture.
- Assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, material handling, excavation support, and removal of construction materials.
- Follow direction from the Foreman and project leadership and complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite and address or report hazards as they are identified.
- Follow all company Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E;) policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support environmental protection and responsible construction practices throughout the project.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely.
- Assist with concrete work, including forming, mixing, pouring, minor finishing, and basic landscaping/restoration.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous construction,



civil construction, underground utilities, sewer, water, or general labour experience is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a crew in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures and safe work practices.
- Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
- General knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment repair, and preventative maintenance is an asset.
- Experience with concrete forming, mixing, pouring, finishing, and basic landscaping is an asset.
- Physically capable of performing demanding construction work, including lifting, bending, standing, walking, and working outdoors.
- Available to work 10–12 hour shifts and varying jobsite conditions.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
