Snow Plow Operator – G Driver

SG Mowing is hiring an experienced Snow Plow Operator for our 6-month winter snow removal season.

Position Details

- Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
- Contract: 6-month seasonal contract
- Location: London, Ontario and surrounding areas
- Schedule: On-call / weather dependent
- Work: Residential and commercial snow removal

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of snow plowing experience – REQUIRED
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence – REQUIRED
- Minimum age of 25 years – REQUIRED for company insurance purposes
- Clean driver's abstract – REQUIRED
- Must be insurable under SG Mowing's commercial vehicle insurance policy
- Experience operating a pickup truck with a snow plow
- Reliable transportation
- Available during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work extended hours when required
- Comfortable working outdoors in winter weather
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a snow plow truck
- Plow residential driveways and commercial properties




- Clear parking lots, entrances, and access areas
- Perform snow removal during active snow events
- Assist with salting and ice management when required
- Follow assigned routes and instructions
- Complete basic vehicle and equipment checks
- Protect customer property, curbs, landscaping, vehicles, and buildings
- Communicate with supervisors during snow events

Key This is a 6-month seasonal, weather-dependent position. Operators must be available for on-call work during snow events, including overnight shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays.

Applicants must provide a clean driver's abstract and meet SG Mowing's insurance requirements before operating company vehicles.
