Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service process. Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards.
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently, maintaining consistency and quality
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Assist with food plating, presentation, and portioning to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by providing timely assistance




- Ensure all food items are stored correctly and inventory levels are monitored regularly
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and safety protocols

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service workplace is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Experience with food handling, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in a rapid-paced setting is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration in a busy kitchen environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Pay: $15.00-$20.54 per hour
