About TCSN
Tamil Community Services for Special Needs (TCSN) is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families with autism and developmental disabilities.
We provide a range of structured and individualized programs, including ABA therapy, adapted learning, life skills, social skills, communication development, and therapeutic supports in a culturally responsive, inclusive, and family-centered environment.
Position Overview
TCSN is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support children and youth with speech, language, communication, and social communication needs.
The SLP will conduct assessments, develop individualized goals and intervention plans, provide direct therapy, and collaborate with our ABA team, Instructor Therapists, families, and other program staff.
This is a flexible part-time/contract opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with children and youth with autism and developmental disabilities in a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized treatment goals and intervention plans based on each child's needs
- Provide one-on-one speech and language therapy sessions
- Support expressive and receptive language, functional communication, social communication, and related skills
- Collaborate with Instructor Therapists, ABA team members, and other program staff
- Provide guidance and strategies to staff to support communication goals across programs
- Provide parent/caregiver coaching and strategies for supporting communication at home
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, session notes, and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative program planning
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Experience working with children and youth with autism, developmental disabilities, or communication needs is preferred
- Knowledge of AAC and alternative communication strategies is an asset
- Solid communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing respectful, individualized, and family-centered services

Pay: $85.00-$90.00 per hour
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
