With an annual budget of over $2B the Ottawa Hospital is a large complex organization, one of the largest of its kind in Canada.
The Senior Analyst, Treasury is responsible for the efficient delivery of comprehensive financial services and technical analysis. Functioning as a subject matter expert, this role will aid in workflow improvements and initiate efficiencies as needed. This role will also perform day-to-day treasury operations by ensuring compliance with internal controls, agreements, legislation, and industry standards.
This role will also support in developing complex financial models for various capital projects of The Ottawa Hospital.
Day to day responsibilities include cash management and forecasting, liquidity management, investment management, treasury risk management, banking relationship management, credit rating agency relations, debt management and supporting debt raising activities.
This position will report to the Manager, Treasury Operations.
Rotation/Shifts
Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance Related Field;
- Professional Accounting designation (CPA-CA, CPA-CMA or CPA-CGA); and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation. Designations in Progress will be considered;
- Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in Not for Profit, Health Care, or any industry in a Treasury related position;
- Strong financial background including the ability to link finance and operations;
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills,
including the ability to deal with situations where information is difficult to obtain, complex, or ambiguous;
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, customer service and presentation skills;
- Demonstrated high level of initiative, self-direction, flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and practical experience with large ERP system considered an asset;
- Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced).
