About The Role
As a SrLegal Documentation Analyst, you will provide operational support to the Transaction Management Services Team by reviewing, summarizing, and preparing commercial and residential real estate lease documentation and related transaction records. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of lease transactions while supporting internal stakeholders and our corporate clients.
This position is part of the Transaction Management Services function, which provides ongoing management of real estate transaction activities for a defined portfolio of properties on behalf of our corporate clients.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, review, summarize and finalize lease documentation, amendments, renewals, assignments, consents, and other real estate transaction-related documents.
- Review lease documentation against approved templates, deal terms, internal standards, and applicable legal requirements to identify inconsistencies, omissions, and required revisions.
- Track transaction milestones and critical dates to support timely execution of lease agreements.
- Assist with lease abstraction, data validation, and updates to transaction and lease administration databases.
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, lawyers, clients, transaction managers, and internal leasing teams to answer documentation questions, obtain approvals, and move matters forward efficiently.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure data integrity, document accuracy and ensure all lease documentation complies with company standards, client requirements, and established processes.
Skills And Knowledge Required
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Excellent drafting, proofreading, reading comprehension, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Document Accuracy: Low rate of revisions, corrections, or rework required after internal, legal, or client review.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of commercial leasing practices that align with applicable laws, commercial real estate terminology and legal documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or Law Clerk diploma preferred with 3 – 8 years experience in the field. In lieu of a degree, a combination of work experience and education will be considered.
- Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions, lease administration, documentation, or contract management.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- Experience supporting large,
multi-site real estate portfolios.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary being offered for this position is $90,000-$100,000 annually.
