ROLE SUMMARY — Contract Senior Analyst, Vendor Management Office McKesson Technology | Mississauga, ON | 6–12 Month Contract | P4 Level McKesson Technology's VMO is seeking an experienced contract Senior Analyst to support Project Vortex 2.0 — a multi-year initiative to consolidate McKesson's IT vendor portfolio.
This is a hands-on embedded role supporting the VP, VMO across four active workstreams:
Vendor Consolidation & RFP Execution — Support development of RFP within MT to develop vendor of record procurement model. Assist with supplier evaluation, scoring, negotiations and award documentation.
Financial Modelling & Savings Tracking — Maintain and evolve a multi-geography savings model and spend tracking - with markup compression, volume rebate, and statutory burden levers; produce executive-ready financial summaries and decks.
Governance, SOWs & VMO Process Implementation — Review and redline vendor agreements (staffing, managed services, qualified services); support SLA tracking, QBR preparation, steering committee meetings, vendor scorecards and exception management. Manage and implement vendor exception and governance processes across Service Areas.
PMO / Coordination — Track deliverables, manage stakeholder communications, maintain governance trackers, and support cross-functional coordination across VMO, Finance, Legal, and IT Service Areas.
Ideal candidate: 5+ years in IT vendor management, sourcing/procurement, supply chain or commercial contract management. Strong written communication — this role produces deliverables that go to executive leadership.
