As a key member of the Staffing & Scheduling Centre, you'll work collaboratively with leaders and staff across the organization to coordinate staffing needs, manage schedules, and support operational excellence within one of southeastern Ontario's leading healthcare organizations.

Schedule
This is a part-time position with rotating shifts including:
- 05:00-13:00
- 05:00-17:00
- 06:00-14:00
- 08:00-16:00
- 10:00-18:00
- 11:00-19:00
- 12:00-00:00
- 13:00-21:00
What You'll Do
As a Staffing/Scheduling Clerk, you will help ensure the right staff are in the right place at the right time by:
- Coordinating staffing coverage and scheduling needs across multiple departments
- Calling in staff and reallocating resources in accordance with collective agreements
- Maintaining accurate employee schedules and staffing records within automated scheduling systems
- Responding to staffing requests from managers and operational leaders
- Monitoring staffing levels and escalating shortages or surpluses as needed
- Generating reports and maintaining scheduling statistics
- Supporting users of the scheduling system by providing guidance on processes and procedures
- Updating employee profiles, assignments, and work schedules to ensure data accuracy
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who is organized, adaptable, and committed to providing excellent service.
Required Qualifications:
- Office Administration Certificate (one year) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of clerical experience, including at least six months of staff scheduling experience within the last five years
- Strong computer skills and ability to work within a Windows workplace
- Experience using computerized scheduling systems
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and perform effectively in a high-volume environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to regular attendance
- Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
