Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Security Guard in Chatham, Ontario to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure residential environment for residents, visitors, and property.

The ideal candidate is skilled, dependable, comfortable working independently, and capable of responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and control access to the residential property, including residents, visitors, contractors, and other authorized persons.
- Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the property to identify and address security or safety concerns.
- Monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems as required.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, disturbances, complaints, and emergency situations.
- Maintain a visible security presence and help ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors.
- Prepare clear and detailed daily activity and incident reports.
- Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with police, fire, EMS, and other emergency services when required.




- Provide First Aid and CPR assistance when necessary.
- Report suspicious activity, property damage, safety hazards, and other concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification from a WSIB-approved provider.
- Ability to work independently and confidently use technology.
- Strong understanding of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Must own a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver's licence, as transportation to and from the worksite is required.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Previous residential, condominium, apartment, or property security experience is considered an asset.

Shift Schedule This position requires availability for the following shifts:
- 17:00 – 00:00
- 23:59 – 07:00

Applicants must be available to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs. Work Location: In person: Chatham, Ontario

Pay: $17.75 per hour
