We are currently looking for dependable and professional Static Security Guards to join our team for permanent site assignments. This is a long-term position with consistent 12-hour shifts, available on both day and night schedules.
We are looking for individuals who are punctual, responsible, attentive, and able to maintain a professional presence while protecting the site, staff, and property.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure the assigned property/site
- Control access to the site and verify authorized personnel
- Conduct regular patrols as required
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas
- Report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and incidents
- Complete daily logs and incident reports when required
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and site-related concerns
- Follow all site procedures and supervisor instructions
- Maintain a professional presence at all times
Requirements
- Valid BC Security Worker Licence
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Reliable and punctual
- Solid communication and observation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
- Must be available for either day or night shifts
- Previous security experience is an asset
