Successful Candidate Responsibilities
Working with students one-on-one & in groups in Junior and Senior High classrooms

Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school
Understand and carry out oral and written direction
Work independently with minimal instructionDemonstrate effective organizational and communication skills
Respect confidentiality
Practice professionalism with all HTH students, staff, administration, parents and public
Are aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures
Have an understanding of the teaching/learning process
Have solid interpersonal skills and patience
Enjoys working in a team workplace
A Teaching Assistant Certificate would be an asset
