As part of our continued growth, HEC is expanding our drafting team in Stoney Creek and is seeking a Structural Drafter who is excited to transform complex engineering concepts into clear, buildable designs. This is a fully on-site position based in either our Stoney Creek, Ontario or Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office, where you'll work alongside a collaborative and supportive team of engineers and drafters.

What You'll Be Doing

- Creating detailed drawings and 3D models for bridges and heavy civil structures using AutoCAD.
- Developing accurate fabrication and erection drawings that contractors depend on.
- Working closely with engineers and project managers to refine details and ensure design clarity.
- Interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications for large scale infrastructure projects.

What you Bring

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.




- Experience in structural detailing for bridges or heavy civil projects.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.
- A diploma or degree in drafting, civil engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
