Our clients include architects, developers, contractors, design builders, engineers, and homeowners.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsperson / Structural Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing structural drawings and supporting structural design activities within the context of a collaborative design team. This position requires technical drafting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare contract drawings, details, and sketches from conceptual design through to construction.
- Coordinate project requirements with the design team.
- Adhere to CAD standards as well as Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures during drawing, planning, and production.
- Support construction administration personnel with field reviews, coordination, and issuance of detailed drawings and sketches.




- Ensure projects are completed within established timelines.
- Work overtime as required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting Technology from a recognized technical program. Eligibility for certification with CTTAM is considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience drafting engineering drawings (structural steel, concrete, and wood-framed projects preferred).
- Proficiency with current versions of AutoCAD.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to remain focused and detail-oriented while working in a busy, open office environment.
