EIDS Consultants Inc. is looking for a Structural Engineer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in structural design and analysis and be comfortable working with a variety of building materials, including structural steel, wood, concrete, and masonry.

Responsibilities

- Prepare structural designs, calculations, and drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Design structural systems using steel, wood, concrete, and masonry.
- Prepare and review drawings using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Review construction drawings and assist with resolving structural design issues.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and engineering standards.
- Assist with site reviews and construction-related coordination when required.





Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience working in structural engineering or building design.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience designing with steel and wood; concrete and masonry experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with Canadian/Ontario building codes and structural standards is preferred.
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
