Overview
We're looking for skilled Ironworkers to join our team! The perfect candidates should have solid experience in commercial steel erection and construction, along with the ability to read blueprints. We are looking for a Foreman, connectors, bolt up and impacting, As an Ironworker with SKYBOUND STEEL you'll be installing and erecting steel structures while ensuring safety and quality standards are always met.
This role requires teamwork and precision to get the job done safely and on time on our construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and erect steel structures following specifications and blueprints.
- Work at heights using fall protection equipment.
- Safely and effectively use power tools and hand tools.
- Operate mobile elevated work platforms.
- Install rigging and other components in office.
- Inspect completed work for compliance with codes and standards.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean and organized while following safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in commercial construction environments.
- Comfortable and capable of working at heights directly on steel or using EWP.
- Familiar with crane signals, rigging, and equipment operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic math.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
- Rigging belt with tools
