Duties:
To assist with marking assignments and tests under the direction of the course instructor in the applicable course, 38:170 How Earth Works: Applied Physical Geography (1 position) or 38:192 Environment & Society (1 position).
1. Mark short answer/paragraph question tests using a marking guide;
2. Mark mid-term examinations using an answer key;
3. Mark assignments using a marking guide;
4. Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
Skill set
- Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively;
- Ability to take direction and work to meet deadlines;
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively;
- Detail-oriented, punctual and reliable
Education and Experience:
- Preference given to current Brandon University student; at least second year undergraduate level is required;
-Strong academic standing with a Grade of A- or above in the applicable course;
- Previous experience preferred.
