Ace Acumen Heights is a Languages Canada accredited designated learning institution (DLI), a private international institution located in Toronto, Ontario. The Highschool is seeking a professional who will be responsible for the South / South East Asian (particularly Vietnam) to support in student services, student recruitment, branding, and community engagement, while serving as a primary liaison for Vietnamese students and families.

This position is expected to work on-site at the Highschool’s campus; it is NOT a remote job.

This role requires developing relationships in addition to social networking recruitment activities and follow-up. The successful candidate MUST POSSESS FLUENT LANGUAGE SKILLS in relation to regions listed above.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide excellent student care to assist with integration into the classroom and school setting
- Assist with housing / homestay arrangements, ensure a smooth transition into campus life.
- Manage homestay placements for new and returning students.
- Coordinate airport pickups for timely arrivals.
- Facilitate student health insurance enrollment and mental health program assistance.
- Serve as a liaison to address, research, resolve and respond to student issues related to school services and/or academics; serve as a liaison between students, teachers, and management to Ensure effective communication
- Assist with the development of study plans: monitor/track academic performance; develop and coordinate study skills / tutoring groups, or workshops on topics such as note-taking, test or examination anxiety, preparation strategies, and time management skills.
- Ensure / increase student engagement in school programs, both academic and extra-curricular.
- Provide academic information on programs, application / eligibility status to applicants, prospective students,



their parents and educational counsellors/agents; distribute resource materials for student recruitment and retention programs.
- Support / participate in / conduct on and off-site recruitment-based student activities, including but not limited to: workshops, retreats and open houses, as directed, to support the promotion of the school(s) in the international market.

REQUIREMENTS

- Diploma in a related field from a publicly accredited institution is mandatory
- Knowledge of educational systems and international secondary & post-secondary curriculums of other countries is an asset
- One year of relevant work experience, including experience in a multicultural and/or international setting
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite) and MS Office Suite
- Fluent in a language other than English is considered an asset, preferred experience with South / South East Asian (VIETNAM) educational systems
