Pivot is a community-focused organization in Waterloo, Canada, dedicated to creating positive impact through student engagement and local initiatives. The organization provides opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects that support residents and community partners. Student volunteers are encouraged to bring new ideas and perspectives to help shape and improve pivot’s initiatives.

Role Description The Student Volunteer role at pivot is a temporary, on-site position based in Waterloo. Tasks may include supporting program delivery, assisting staff with event planning and logistics, helping organize materials and resources, and engaging with community members in a courteous and inclusive manner. The role may involve collecting feedback from participants, documenting activities, and preparing basic reports or summaries for supervisors.

Volunteers will collaborate with team members, attend regular check-ins or team meetings, and follow organizational guidelines to ensure a safe and respectful setting.
