Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Treasury: Financial report preparation: daily Treasury report
Swift AML investigation
Nostro and bank account management
Parent Bank reporting (Securities, Liquidity regulatory compliance, Volcker rule)
Deposit and loan rate guidance and market research
OSFI reporting (Liquidity Activity Monitoring, LCR and NCCF)
FX trade operation (FX/SWAP)
MM trade operation management (GIC, BA, bond and call loan)
Borrowing management and guidance
Swift message coordination
Exchange rate and interest rate log management
FX rate and FTP rate posting
Cheque collection management
Liquidity Risk Stress Testing (Back-up)
Basel 3 public disclosure preparation (Back-up)
Support the branch staffs and resolve any inquiries, investigation or notice
AHOC projects/reports per the request from CFO and Treasury Director
Risk management: Update the work manuals to date in greater details and train back-up person
Ensure reviewing the work manuals for back-up and provide back-up services
Meet the requirements from internal audit and OSFI
Ensure understanding of internal policies and regulatory guidelines
Ensure the efficient share file management and spreadsheet management
Review and update related internal policies and guideline annually
Communication:
Build your own view and opinions and communicate with confidence
Provide interim status updates if necessary
Escalate the potential issues as early as possible
Communicate well within the team and with other stakeholders
Job Requirements Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business related fields with an emphasis in finance or accounting, or equivalent combination of education
Work Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong computer skills and advanced excel skills are a must
Good organizational and communication skills to manage workload, communicate with teams and effective assist
Knowledge of accounting principles
Great organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment
Remains versatile to withstand unpredictable changes to schedule and deadlines
CPA/CFA would be a great asset
Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of Administration processes, practices and procedures
Planning and Organizing
Risk, compliance and audit mindset
Canadian laws and regulations
Local market knowledge
Knowledge of Policy Development processes
Project management
Specialized subject matter expertise and knowledge
