Role Description The Supervisor role is a part-time, on-site position located in Whitby, ON, responsible for supporting daily store operations and delivering an engaging customer experience. This role oversees sales floor activities, helps guide and support team members, and ensures that customers receive attentive service, product knowledge, and assistance with purchases and returns. The Supervisor contributes to visual merchandising, inventory management, and maintaining a clean,
organized, and protected store environment.
Day-to-day tasks include opening and closing procedures, monitoring performance against store goals, supporting training and coaching, and helping resolve customer concerns in a professional manner. The Supervisor collaborates with store leadership to execute company initiatives, uphold brand standards, and foster an inclusive, service-focused culture.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or customer-facing environments, with skills in customer service, sales support, and cash handling.
- Supervisory or leadership abilities, including team support, delegation, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Operational and organizational skills, such as managing inventory, following store procedures, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Ability to work part-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for store coverage.
- Comfort with basic technology and point-of-sale systems; willingness to learn company tools and processes.
- Proven reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to upholding company values of inclusion, integrity, and community support.
- Previous retail fashion or footwear experience is an asset; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
