Job Summary
As a Supervisor at Tim Hortons, you will lead a team to deliver excellent guest experiences in line with brand standards. You’ll oversee daily operations, train and motivate team members, ensure food safety and cleanliness, and help manage labor, inventory, and cash handling. In a hospital setting under Compass Group, you will also ensure your team aligns with hospital safety protocols and patient-centered service values.

Reports to: Restaurant Manager / Unit Manager The hourly rate for this role is $18.00. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. How You Will Make An Impact
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and support front-line team members.
- Organize shift schedules and manage breaks to maintain coverage.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Guest Experience
- Ensure prompt, friendly, and consistent service.
- Resolve customer complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain product quality and presentation standards.
Operations
- Complete opening, closing, and shift change duties.
- Monitor food safety practices (temperature checks, product rotation, cleanliness).All the products to be maintained at right temperatures and checking their temperatures frequently
- Keep all work areas, equipment, and dining spaces clean and organized.
- Maintaining all the Logs Diligently. Both Tims and Compass.Ensuring that your team follows it.
- Deep Cleaning Schedule both Daily and weekly to be made and followed up with Team members
- Setting up Standards of Tim Hortons in every aspect of Operations
- Maintaining the required showcase display at all times
Financial Accountability
- Handle cash, complete till counts, and prepare deposits.
- Monitor and help control inventory, food costs, and labor expenses.
- Inventory counting to be done accurately every Friday and submitted on Clearview
Equipment &
- Maintenance
- Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
- Report malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
- Weekly Calibration of Equipment and training the staff in Calibration
Compliance &
- Safety
- Enforce Tim Hortons brand standards, Compass Group policies, and local health regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety, including PPE use and safe food handling.
- Complete daily checklists and documentation as required.
Communication &
- Support
- Act as a liaison between team members and management.
- Assist in onboarding new employees.
- Share updates on promotions and procedural changes.
About You
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in Tim Hortons for at least 2years
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and also able to do multitasking
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Flexible availability (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
