Employment Term: 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension or consideration for a permanent full-time position.

What You’ll Do

This hands-on role coordinates supply chain activities that support WCMRC’s oil spill response operations, including procurement, inventory, logistics, warehousing, and asset disposal. You will:

- Source supplies, equipment, and services, maintain reliable supplier relationships, and monitor inventory levels to support steady-state operations and oil spill response readiness.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, warehousing, transportation, and related logistics activities to support timely and efficient resource flow.
- Assess supply chain needs, anticipate shortages, and support contingency planning.
- Coordinate asset disposal activities, including evaluation, recycling, resale, and documentation of disposal transactions.
- Follow legal, health, and safety requirements, complete required training, report incidents, and take reasonable precautions to protect personal safety and the safety of others.

What You Bring You bring sound judgment, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a hands-on operational environment. Your qualifications include:

- Three to five years of related experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, or a similar operational environment.
- Knowledge of or experience with procurement, purchasing,



and vendor management practices.
- Post-secondary education in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, mobile devices, and operational software applications.
- Class 5 driver’s licence in good standing.

Additional Assets The following are considered assets for this role:

- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work effectively in a hands-on operational environment.
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
- Flexibility with scheduling and availability.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Endorsement 20 for heavy trailers.
