Job Title: Tool & Die Maker

A leading automotive manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to support the manufacturing, repair, maintenance, and optimization of production tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures.

Roles & Responsibilities
Build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot progressive, transfer, and other production dies.
Set up and operate conventional and CNC machinery, including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD prints, technical specifications, and GD&T.;
Perform precision fitting, machining, assembly, polishing, and adjustments of tooling components.
Diagnose tooling issues and perform root-cause analysis to improve reliability and efficiency.




Conduct preventive maintenance and support production changeovers.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve tooling performance and quality.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow workplace safety and quality standards.

Requirements
Tool & Die Maker certification or equivalent apprenticeship.
Solid hands-on experience in tool and die making, preferably within automotive or industrial manufacturing.
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and machining equipment.
Solid understanding of metal properties, tooling processes, and GD&T.;
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
